Hey Gang – we’re about to head out on vacation, and happily, I’m totally packed and ready, with our itinerary done and ready to go!

Why am I like this, Gang? WHY? The scary thing is that, comparatively, I have the highest executive functioning levels in my family. Well, except for Pax. He’s more like my type A parents (and my type A brother…and my type A sister)…but he’s only 15, so planning the entire family vacation and getting us all packed seems too big of a burden for a kid. I’m waiting for that day, tho. Maybe next year?
Anyway. Gotta go.
ps. Anyone else have trouble getting anywhere on time? Here’s our song. “All my girls too hot to blame…5, 10, 15 late!” 😉

Looks stupid on the model: This dress. But! If you look at it on the actual person (she’s wearing it in bright orange, I think) it looks amazing on her. The ‘cabernet’ color is part of the NSale – anyone try it on??
A v-neck tee I actually…like? This Boden one seems to have a much deeper v-neckline than most, and I think it could look really cool with a whole mess of necklaces. Haha – one 2-star review clinched it for me: “you could see a bra through it and the V neck was too low.” Meanwhile I’m over here like perrrrfect.
The whole mess of necklaces I’m currently wearing: Beach Bar + Laguna + Confetti Bonbon. It’s colorful and messy and fun. I love it.
The best thing at GAP right now? This striped polo + matching sweater skort. How cute would this set be in late summer/early fall with loafers like this? Gahhh. (Oh geez – there’s a crochet version, too. Also so good!)
Those baggy, ivory bermuda shorts I’ve been wearing all summer? Still sold out at Levi’s, but more sizes just turned up at Revolve (size up to get the right look – I’m wearing a 30).
Oooo…for anyone whose World Cup fever has turned them into a soccer fan for life: this silk shirt. (Gahhh it’s honestly so good, and would be perfectly irreverent at the office.)
Jean GENIUS. I’ve been mildly curious about Levi’s lightweight jeans for summer…and was casually clicking through, inspecting washes (‘losing my mind’ is my fav haha), when I saw that these jeans have an extra button on the side of the waist to make them tighter or looser!!! Ordered. Immediately ordered!! I sized up a few sizes so I can wear them higher or lower on my hips, depending on which top I’m wearing. Still firmly a 90’s girl.
Awwwww….one of my very favorite local Vermont brands has made it into Sephora. Love to see it. I know you guys have heard me wax poetic about these clean-beauty products before, but if not…this really natural contour set will make a believer out of even the most makeup-adverse. It’s my go-to gift for all of my girlfriends.
